Connect Buzzsprout to AI assistants
Connect Buzzsprout to an AI assistant to ask questions about your podcasts, episodes, and downloads. Buzzsprout works with AI assistants that support remote MCP servers.
The connection is read-only. Your assistant cannot create, edit, publish, rename, or delete episodes. It also cannot change your Buzzsprout plan, billing, or payment information.
How to connect
- In your AI assistant, find the option to add a remote MCP server.
- Enter https://www.buzzsprout.com/mcp.
- Sign in to Buzzsprout and approve access.
There’s no API key to copy or paste. Your existing Buzzsprout roles and permissions still apply, so the assistant can only read information from podcasts your account already has access to.
What can I ask?
- “Which podcasts can I access?”
- “What are my latest episodes?”
- “How many downloads did my podcast get last month?”
- “Compare downloads for these episodes.”
A few things to know
- Buzzsprout reports downloads, not unique listeners or retention. Learn how downloads are measured.
- Download date ranges include both the start and end dates and use your podcast’s time zone.
- Episode lists may include private, scheduled, inactive, premium, or still-processing episodes. A stored release date does not necessarily mean an episode is currently public or playable.
- Episodes with no downloads during the selected date range may be omitted from episode-level download results.
- Empty results, such as no episodes or 0 downloads, are normal answers, not errors.
Privacy and support
Your assistant only gets access to podcast data your connected Buzzsprout account is already allowed to access. You can disconnect the integration at any time.
