Buzzsprout Plans are structured around how much time you upload each billing cycle. We refer to this as your upload allowance, and we'll explain all the details here.
How Allowance Works
You'll start each cycle with full allowance. When you upload an episode, the time/length of the episode will be deducted from your monthly allowance. For example, if you are on the six-hour plan and you upload an hour-long episode, you will have five hours left for that billing cycle.
Allowance is deducted when you upload a file. So, if you upload an episode but schedule it to publish in a future cycle, the allowance will still count towards the billing cycle you're currently in.
Tracking Your Allowance
On your Home page, click on the Allowance Bar, and you’ll see all your upload allowance details: remaining time, billing cycle renewal date, and episodes you’ve uploaded during the cycle.
What About Unused Hours?
Unused upload hours don't roll over into future billing cycles. But if you have remaining upload time and episodes ready to go, you can upload them now and
schedule them for a future publish date. This helps you use your upload allowance while keeping your normal publishing schedule!
What If I Need More Allowance?
If you need more upload hours or go over your allowance, no worries! This will be counted as overage, and you can check out the details here:
