What is Overage?

Each Buzzsprout plan has a set allowance, but you can use overage hours to customize your plan. For example, if you plan to upload 8 hours of content, you choose our 6-hour/month plan and add 2 hours of overage! 

How much does overage cost?

Overage hours are priced individually and range from $2/hour to $4/hour depending on your monthly plan.

Audio Plans:
  • $4/overage hour on the $18/month plan
  • $3/overage hour on the $36/month plan
  • $2/overage hour on the $78/month plan 
Audio + Video Plans: 
  • $4/overage hour on the $30/month plan
  • $3/overage hour on the $60/month plan
  • $2/overage hour on the $96/month plan

When is overage charged? 

You don't need to purchase overage ahead of time. If you go over your allowance, the overage charges will automatically be included in your next invoice. Just like with your allowance, you can monitor your overage on your Allowance page in your account.

Can annual plans have overage? 

Annual plans do not allow overage. If you need additional allowance on an annual plan, you’ll need to upgrade to a larger plan by going to Settings > Subscription > Plan.
